Homage to Simeon Brown

And His Boss. He's Learned From The Best
18

Open to all - happy weekend ahead, friends.

Today I just want to be petty.

It’s the way I imagine this chap is -

Not only as a political persona.

But his real-deal inner personality, in all its glory - appears to be pure pettiness & populist driven.

Sometimes I wonder if Simeon ever grew up.

I try not to write about him too much

Because I find him infuriating and immature. Petty seems to be his namesake.

But it’s hard. He keeps putting peoples’ lives at risk and ignores all manner of evidence.

For example, his great fan-fare fast speed campaign is estimated to save Kiwis about 1 minute on major roads.

Greater Auckland comes with receipts/evidence.

And all at what cost?*

Evidence and democracy falls on deaf ears when it’s in the way of Simeon’s ideology.

Yeah, he simply can’t understand why people would prioritise safety over a few minutes of “saved time” - even when it comes to children.

*And doesn’t care that New Zealand has 7.3 road deaths per 100,000 people compared to 2.1 in Sweden and 4.5 in Australia.1

Maybe they will understand money?

How about 10 of the big billions per year, Mr Brown?

But no.

They are pure ideologists.

Instead, Simeon and his team is going to further deepen NZ’s fiscal hole.

Taking money away from health, climate, and infrastructure to satisfy personal asphalt orgasms.

Did Nicola speak up? Nah, of course, she didn’t.

They all already knew - early on2.

Friends and all, am I right?

What’s a few $20-60bn between us - we go way back, Simeon babe. I’ll screw over health and bury rail instead. xx Nic

Just yesterday, I pointed out Treasury has been warning this Government that climate related events are going to cost more and more.

Yet they just don’t give a shit, do they?

They’ve already tanked the EV market because clean cars are just so woke!

Let alone the rest.

Right?

Ask your boss though - he likes them!

And, Amanda too!

He loves her. It’s sweet.

Entitled Luxon leads a rotting fish from the head down.

And people are getting hurt.

And will continue to.

The greatest pain is in seeing how A can only inevitably lead to Z. And Z is not that far off.

But don’t worry, folks, I found their playbook, and just as I thought -

Yeah, it’s pretty dumb.

And ample evidence that Simeon, hero of alt-right wing haters, Auckland MP, and a faithful devoted man of God, is showing us exactly who he is.

BTW: It’s becoming clear to me that Chris Bishop, who is in Paris AGAIN this month, as some Olympic Minister title or whatever he got, is trying to position himself for PM if Luxon gets kicked out. No doubt he’s more sinister and nefarious than the Lux but it’s unlikely they will carry the liability through to the next election, and Bishop knows it. In the meantime, when he isn’t fighting for property developers and handing out $500,000 for mates, he’s just living it up. Now that’s what public services is about….for some.
