I read the article about Seymour’s new girlfriend. He said he’d give up politics for love. I hope he is madly in love with her, and he gives up politics very soon.
But then again - who will implement all those property developer and investor friendly policies? What is love without return for someone like Seymour? It may be rude to say but I'd wager his entire charm is his position at the moment (sorry to get personal there)
Brilliant summation in the video clip. How on earth has this wrecker ever been allowed anywhere near the fiscal portfolio. Almost everything she touches creates another barrier to NZ economic recovery. But $12billion borrowed for tax cuts fir the rich is the answer....yeah right!

We as in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We as in a large enough majority of us.
And we as in - still so many support this government because the comprehensive analysis isn't getting out there. It's really sad in that regard, but I hear you indeed.
watch what happens after xmas, there are a number of people that I know that are getting through to the end of the school year and starting 2025 will be calling Australia home. It will be interesting to see how much more dire it gets with Australia starting to slow coming into an election year, so the release value on our own unemployment rate gets shut off, that is before the Trump Train gets back on track again!
😱 Unfortunately this is a great summary of where we are, and what kind of people are ruining the country 😥 I know people who (so far) have kept their govt jobs, but it is 24/7 stress that they might be next 🫂 Plus others frankly advising younger workers to go to Aussie for a holiday look-see as their type of work opportunity is shrinking in Aotearoa - sad but true 🤷
