Potaka is a traitor to his own people!

He lies over the clean car rebate, said on TV that he was given it as part of the car purchase! No, one applies for it. He lied, he cannot be trusted.

I've seen him in Parliament. He is proud to stand with National.

In my eyes, as an Yankiwi, I see him as nothing but an "Uncle Tom", which loosely translates to a "traitor".

"Yankiwi" - never heard of that term - I like it.

I think his ‘own people’ are the ones wearing blue polo shirts! His ancestry has been sold off to finance his political ambitions, I truly believe he will be PM sometime soonish…

Sorry, I meant ‘he’ truly believes…

Ah thanks for that edit, Keith, I did notice that! If so, that's also quite sad. But I guess everyone has their own fantasies.

Love the diagram by Carl Chenery - gives much clarity to Seymour’s ‘imagined principles and set a positive pathway for the future to respect and honour Te Teriti and understand it. Having said that Seymour’s intent to give people equally rights under the law is a ‘smokescreen.’ He doesn’t want to give equal rights, he works for his corporate masters - they don’t want that. What they want is Te Tiriti abandoned so Aotearoa is available to international property investors (Seymour’s already overturned the overseas investment criteria), and they want to flog off state assets to corporates eg the x3 gentailers that has a 51% public share holding!

What you say is true and accurate Paul.

This government though is indeed not governing for cohesion - they are governing for division, and therefore, their calculations are clinical as to the "average" Kiwi who is not conversant in the details, and who can be hoodwinked by their false claims....so long as they can keep enough of them on side, they will continue unabated.

Furthermore, as they change laws and appointees, and as the law and systems become friendlier, they may become bolder even - this is what they are working towards - a takeover by stealth from within.

This is so overwhelming and down right cruel. Thank you for your mahi Mountain Tui. Your research has informed and helped many to understand what is happening. We must not despair, and we must believe we can join together and vote them out.

Thank you Patricia, Kia Kaha!

More foxes in the henhouse! More reasons for voting them out!

We must! We will!! What they are doing makes me really cross but determined.

Yes, as you said Tui, we can expect loads of hoodwinking in 2026!

Fight it with well publicised facts!

It appears this government of two Coalitions of Corrupt Cretins has resurrected the 1961 Hunn Report which National adopted as policy sixty years ago.

The key word is ‘integration’.

Thank you MT. This is too depressing to comprehend fully. Needless to say, this is not a surprise given this Govts approach. Your mahi is so appreciated. New Zealand erst who think we won't end up like the US need to think again...this is our own nightmare come true and it's happening with our eyes wide open.

Quite a few pages from the Trump handbook - appointment incompetent and inappropriate people to positions of power, then call in the favours

My word, Labour have a huge task to redress this fascism after the next election, perhaps in less than two years

They intend to completely overhaul our systems and processes, so that they can advertise their "success" and have little to no credible voices of opposition to it - it should be alarming to every Kiwi, but of course, what they want is for most to not realise, and I'd wager many don't.

"Who controls the narrative controls the future" is their hope and wish.

I certainly hope so!
