Does anyone know what the criteria is for passing law under urgency?

Surely there must be some restrictions?

It appears that executive power is ... almost unlimited - bar the judiciary.

And that's why they are putting forward multiple bills - including the Regulatory Standards Bill that Melanie Nelson highlighted recently - to stop that.

I have heard that.....they're not shameful are they? Anyway, food parcels is what a good Christian like Luxon would do, I imagine.

Pity about the rest of his actions.

When 7AA was repealed, and all the experts came forward to say how much it would harm at risk tamariki, it was revealed Luxon didn't even understand what 7AA was - yet he was supporting its repeal.

This man appears not only heartless, but also intellectually incurious, and a management light weight.

Unbelievable hypocrisy that Luxon would volunteer along with his wife at a food bank whilst causing the VERY ECONOMIC REASONS that require them in the first place. Lipstick on a pig just presents an even uglier pig!
