Hubris and Pride Out of the fire and into the frying pan? Swimming with the big sharks
Tonight, I am excited. Tired, but energized by the revelations of where I have landed. Substack. Standard.
As I look around, and as I write profusely like some word possessed demon, it occurs to me how many great heads there are around.
And how much profound insight is offered on this one channel alone.
It’s not Reddit.
It’s not a New Zealand sub culture that tries to tell me that to have political opinions is to reek of bias and suspicion. Or that “bias” is a negative characteristic even if it’s based on reasoned analysis, care for society, or concern for those that are weakest and cannot fend for themselves, including our nature.
