Nicky has a cheek to have a go at Craig Renny a qualified economist. Bit rich from one who is in charge of finances and her claim to fame is a degree in English Literature, and its showing. She didn't even answer the bloody question, typical. As for Mr Potato Head, he appears to be squirming, with that stupid smarmy grin that seems fixed in place. And oh joy I get to pay for fossil fuel gas power generation, if it had been towards green energy I wouldn't have minded but this?, so angry.
Our PM has had some coaching. He has learned that if he tilts his head to one side, nods, and stares back at the person speaking to him, it'll make him look as though he knows what's going on. The moment he opens his mouth to speak though, he blows it. Intelligence is not easy to fake.
Interesting watching Luxon debate. Incompetent people often don’t have the ability to recognise their own lack of knowledge. This is known as the Dunning-Kruger effect. Luxon’s performance here suggests he may be one of those unfortunate individuals who experience difficulty in recognising their own lack of knowledge, which would also suggest he might be incompetent.
You’re too nice MT. If we remove our emotion and examine Luxon’s behaviour and actions the picture painted isn’t particularly pretty. Look what he’s done since coming to parliament. And sure, it’s hard to watch someone struggle so much, but it’s insightful too, because he has nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. He is completely exposed and he isn’t quite the management savant he promotes himself to be.
I do not care what they call it; I do care that they are spending a billion on more fossil fuel energy! I had hoped (naively) that the Mount tragedy had woken them up a bit! That they did not even consider a sustainable option galls me!!
